Inside this cajon is a bass reflex system that directs sound waves and air through different channels before projecting out from the large, forward-facing vertical sound ports. This gives the frequencies more time to develop inside the body of the cajon, resulting in ultra-low, enhanced bass waves. Think of it as a mechanical subwoofer. Constructed with a Baltic birch frontplate and durable MDF body that produces a punchy, warm sound with depth and sensitivity. Internal fixed sets of snare wires (the same type found on snare drums) are fitted against the playing surface to produce a snare sound that complements the cajons natural bass notes.
