Aulos C-tenor recorder, Dark Brown, Synthetic Resin, Baroque Fingering, ABS Plastic, Ideal for Beginner to Intermediate Players

The Aulos 211A tenor recorder is part of the well-known and popular Robin range which includes the 205A soprano and 209B alto recorders. The instrument is produced using dark brown ABS resin which is hard wearing and of a very consistent quality. The instrument is a little smaller than some tenor recorders which makes it lighter than other. This coupled with finger holes which are less widely spaced make it the ideal model for the younger player - it is lighter and suits smaller hands. The instrument plays in the key of C and has a range from middle C to the D two octaves above that. It is supplied with a fitted leatherette bag along with a very detailed and useful fingering chart. It also comes with joint grease and a cleaning rod to keep the recorder in tip top condition. The tenor recorder produces a richer, deeper tone than the soprano version and because of this models lightweight design it is the ideal instrument to progress to for the younger student.
