The ORCHESTRA S Session Steel Harmonica is a 10-hole, solo-tuned harmonica with orchestra-tuning. All notes from the major scale are available throughout a two-and-a-half octave range. The ORCHESTRA S places the root note at hole 3-blow, adding half of the lower octave to holes 1 and 2, allowing players to hit missing notes in the lower register without bending. The note layout is similar to a chromatic harmonica, making it ideal for learning chromatic playing. Its compact size and durability make it suitable for musical education.

It also opens possibilities for blues players to play minor pieces (3rd position) with a chromatic sound and appreciate the extended major scale in the lower register. Seasoned blues players will find all blues scale notes through natural and bent notes.
